The Greatest Feeling

Player JerseyHotblood has disconnected.
Palzfurreva: I feel so proud
Palzfurreva: That I started the rice thing.
GothicTundra: I demand credit. XD
Palzfurreva: I've watched it grow from a small annoyance to a rebellion 8D
VivaLaVida: I get a bit of credit! :P
Palzfurreva: DO NOT
Palzfurreva: It was me on Gothi's account
Reaction>JerseyHotblood: It cannot be inflicted as violent if these thing happen to the world and affect people everyday. So things that happen this year cannot be put on my profile?
JerseyHotblood[mod]: Not if they are violent
Reaction>JerseyHotblood: But there not violent trapped miners that have been freed. Thats not violent the last time i checked?
JerseyHotblood[mod]: It isa violent situation.
JerseyHotblood[mod]: and ANY form of violence is against HI rules.
Reaction>JerseyHotblood: it's not a violent situation. It's a dangerous situation. Which was resolved.
JerseyHotblood[mod]: I have explaind to you why the section is inappropiate for HI. If you do not remove. I will have to.
Reaction>JerseyHotblood: Ah go on then. Cause i dang well ain't.
JerseyHotblood[mod]: Just a reminder that everytime a mod removes a profile....the profile is sent to admin and vio points may be issued.
Reaction>JerseyHotblood: Good because i don't have any at the moment and i fancy a few.
Look what I (ok Viva) found on urban dictionary:

Horse Isle 12 up, 2 down
A previously fun 2D MMORPG, Horse Isle: Secret Land of Horses has become a monotonous dictatorship, ruled by illiterate, communist moderators and absent admins. Mods appear to be chosen on an irregular basis, and are qualified merely by kissing someone's rear. They are not required to speak (chat) with proper grammar and spelling, and dole out mutes and bans with relish, favoring players with their own opinions.
It has been stated more than once that player opinions do not matter; the creators of the game are the only ones legally qualified to have thoughts. One is also not allowed to have/state that they have family on the game, lest a possible age bracket be determined by a player with less to do that a dead squirrel. Emotions such as love have also been outlawed, and 'violation points' are freely given if a player objects to having his/her freedom of speech revoked.
Having said as much, Horse Isle used to be a fun game, up until around mid 2008, when its sequel was released, and the original was entirely neglected. Old-time players revolted, and the state of revolution continues today, without apparent progress.
Player: I really don't like this thing about Horse Isle. Can we do anything to change it?
Mod: no, nubody can
Player: Why not? Surely there must be some small tweak that could benefit the game.
Mod: nah. stop argung wit me
Player: I was merely stating my opinion.
Mod: no opinions allowed. you get a vio point

I have a feeling a baybarian wrote that.

Did I post this already?

  • erseyHotblood[mod]: Hi can you please remove the last sentence of your profile. "and set it on fire" violence in any form is against HI rules, thanks Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Why, sure. Can you please delete the "hotblood" part of your name? Forget the context, because we don't evaluate that anymore. Violence and gore in any form can scare younger children. Thanks. Your profile changes were saved. JerseyHotblood[mod]: If you feel it is a problem, please report. Your profile changes were saved. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Sure will! Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Also, can I discuss a concern I have? JerseyHotblood[mod]: Absolutely JerseyHotblood[mod]: And I appreciate you remiving the last sentence. Thank you CHAT RIDDLE: What is the following word? (Letters are all one off- like B instead of A) Word: QNEFP (answer first via any chat method) Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: I, as a human being, value integrity in a person. You may be a mod, but when you're in an argument and you realize you are wrong, it's okay to admit that. The juvenile thing to do is to find something to nitpick the other person for, just to feel that you've won a little bit. Also, even though our little tiff about the use of "sacrilege" ended with you not responding, I have little doubt that you gave me a violation point for it anyways, even though it was for no reason. JerseyHotblood[mod]: Mods do not issue violation points. Only admin can do that Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: I understand that mods are put in place to keep HI safe and friendly, and I enjoy the game when there is no swearing or arguing. But for moderators to be effective, players need to respect them. So I would personally like some integrity. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Out of that whole message, all you could think to address was who gives the vio points?
  • Chelsea Moore
JerseyHotblood[mod]: If you feel you were treated unfairly in any way..please feel free to file an abuse report. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: I don't. I'm saying that I don't think you're effective because you don't get any respect from the way you do things. TIME IS UP: No one answered the Chat Riddle in time. JerseyHotblood[mod]: I am sorry you feel I did the wrong thing by not arguing with you. I send the reminders I need to send, i explain WHY I send tham and thats it. As I said. If you feel i am wrong or I have treated you unfairly in any way then feel free to file an abuse report. If i addresses something the wrong way and did not hanle it properly then admin will let me know about it Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Ha. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: The admins. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Sorry, I just found that funny, that the admins would change anything.
  • Sophie Cherro
JerseyHotblood[mod]: Well, If you do not agree with those who created and run the game..then why play? Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: I agreed when I started playing. ISLE CARD TRADING GAME: You have just been given FOUR Isle Trading Cards. They are identical. To win at this game, you will need exactly one of each stallion, mare, colt and filly card in 5 minutes (60 game minutes). JerseyHotblood[mod]: Well, they are the ones who make the rules...we are just asked to see they are followed. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Then the whole controversy with the Bay server started, and they sided with the *cough* wrong parties on banning multiple players over something very, very silly. From the numerous letters and emails that I have seen from a variety of players sent to the admin, (mind you that these were actually thought out, peer edited, and in no way rage-letters), nothing was changed. JerseyHotblood[mod]: Sometimes people only have information form one side. Admin had information from all sides. The chats were reviewed and appropiate actions were taken. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Well, I'm going to agree to disagree. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: (Integrity) JerseyHotblood[mod]: If I may ask...why do you think players were banned? Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Rice. JerseyHotblood[mod]: Rice. JerseyHotblood[mod]: you think it was because of the topic rice? Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Really, that's what it (no pun intended) boils down to.

  • Chelsea Moore

JerseyHotblood[mod]: Well, it was a bit more involved then just "rice" there were rules broken. And honestly it could have been any topic. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: So you would ban players over any topic? Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: So people can talk about fish-slapping, bookface, Twilight, politics, economics, nationalities, and gender but they can't talk about rice?
  • Chelsea Moore

JerseyHotblood[mod]: I cant ban anyone. Only admin can ban. And the meaning of that was the topic could have been anything...it was what was involved with the "rice" that was breaking the rules. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: It was that people should come to Earton and drop random items into an imaginary rice pot. JerseyHotblood[mod]: No, It was asked that players come and "sacrifice" items to the rice pot Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Again, context. Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: Also, I was there. JerseyHotblood[mod]: THAT is where the rule breaking was JerseyHotblood[mod]: absolutely context JerseyHotblood[mod]: not only that it was then asked to be dropped or moved to bud by a mod. Players chose to not do so and agrue about it. that was another rule violation CHAT RIDDLE: What is the following word? (Letters are all one off- like B instead of A) Word:cjsuiezz (answer first via any chat method) JerseyHotblood[mod]: so, you see. It was not just over "rice" that actions were taken Palzfurreva>JerseyHotblood: The context involved dropping items, not Aztec sacrifice to Quetzalcoatl. (You may want to look that up). It was dropping items, not tearing out hearts.
